Bar Chords
A bar chord is a chord that uses your pointer finger to cover all of the strings on any fret and uses your other fingers to make a chord.
This basically uses your pointer finger as a capo and the other fingers form familiar chords. the most common formation of the fingers other than pointer would be A, A-minor, E, and E-minor.
